Payment Terms

(1) Full payment must be received at the date of registration to secure your ticket.

(2) For online credit card bookings, you will receive an email confirmation with an enclosed tax invoice post payment.

(3) Entry to the event will not be permitted for attendees who have failed to pay.

Cancellations/Refunds

If you cancel your ticket purchased in 2024:

(a) 6 weeks prior to the event, you will be entitled to a full refund excluding card processing and booking fees;

(b) less than 6 weeks but more than 2 weeks prior to the event, a $300 cancellation fee will apply, and the remaining balance of the ticket price (excluding card processing and booking fees) will be refunded to you.; or

(c) within 2 weeks of the event, you will not be entitled to a refund, however, you may transfer your ticket to another person.

Ticket Discounts and Discount Codes

Discounts are available for group bookings of 50 plus. Please email enquiries@arecconference.com.au to discuss if your group qualifies for a discount. No refunds or reimbursements will be made/given for the difference between the ticket price paid by you and any future ticket discounts or offers made.

Tax Deductibility

Conference fees and associated travel costs are generally tax deductible. Eligibility for tax deductions should be verified by your independent tax advisor.

Force Majeure

If AREC24 is unable to proceed (be that on or off-site or through audio-visual presentations) due to acts of God, exchange controls, export or import controls, any government restriction (including border restrictions and/or closures), wars, hostilities, blockades, civil disturbances, revolutions, strikes, terror attacks, lockouts, pandemics, severe transportation difficulties or any other cause beyond the reasonable control, delegates/ticket holders shall be notified of such conditions and advised of a rescheduled conference date once practicable. Delegates/ticket holders will have no claim against TRET, McGrath Limited or its subsidiaries as a result of such conditions and the decisions of the event organisers in these circumstances.

Program Disclaimer

Speakers and programs are confirmed at the time of publication but are subject to change without notice. In the event that a speaker is unable to present at AREC24, event organisers will attempt to provide a comparable speaker. No refunds or discounts will be given to delegates/ticket holders as a result of a change to speakers.

Onsite Filming and Photography

By attending AREC24, you acknowledge and consent to being photographed or filmed at the event. In this instance, TRET may broadcast, publish, licence and use any photographs, film, recordings or images of you without compensation or further notice. TRET (and any third party who has the right to use the material) are not liable to you in any way for its use. If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, please advise staff at the registration desk and we will use our best endeavours to remove your image from any publications. 

Please note that photo opportunities with presenters may be available, however, you are not permitted to film or photograph any speaker during their presentation.

Data Capture

By registering for AREC24, you agree that your personal data will, subject to McGrath’s privacy policy, be captured within our secure online database. Exhibitors that you engage with onsite will have lead generator devices that enable them to capture your contact details with your relevant consent. By providing your details to Exhibitors, you do so at your own risk and in accordance with that Exhibitors relevant terms, conditions and privacy policy. TRET is not liable for the use or disclosure of any data as a result of you allowing an Exhibitor to capture your details and personal information.

Privacy Policy

McGrath Limited and its related bodies corporate (including but not limited to Total Real Estate Training Pty Ltd (ACN 093 918 122), franchisees, agents and brokers (McGrath) collect and handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, so that we can provide our products and services relating to our conferences and events, and to tell you about our products and services. Without your information, we may not be able to provide you products and services, you may not be able to attend our conferences and events and you may miss out on receiving valuable information from us. 

We may disclose your personal information to companies in the McGrath group, to relevant government agencies for verification of CPD requirements and to third party service providers who may have servers located overseas such as in the USA, Europe, Japan and Philippines and you consent to these disclosures. You have a right to access your personal information that we hold and may ask us to correct this.
