It’s hard to imagine, but in 1995 there was no such thing as a real estate conference in Australia.
That year John McGrath travelled to a major one in the US and was instantly inspired by the standard of training and actionable ideas, delivered by some of America’s top agents.
Returning to Australia frustrated that our industry didn’t have the insights and value from these conferences, he invited the US presenters out here to speak. They accepted and John became an early market disruptor, staging the first AREC conference.
AREC was founded on the belief that regardless of what the market is doing, it’s what you’re doing that’s important and with the right strategies, there’s no reason not to be successful.
